| Mrs. Texas International, Bonnie Hubert, on the run for CASA |
 Mrs. Texas International 2009, Bonnie Hubert, is planning a unique fundraiser for CASA Court Appointed Special Advocates that will provide a unique experience. The inaugural event is being targeted for early next fall, in an effort to provide a fundraiser that is approximately a half-year from the time of CASA’s major fundraising effort, the annual CASA Gala. Mrs. Hubert has been a big proponent of CASA prior to winning the state crown, and so selected this program as her platform to champion. CASA Child Advocates of Montgomery County, Inc. recruits, trains and supports volunteers to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children under the jurisdiction of the courts.
