About Us
The Woodlands Writing Guild exists for its members — to motivate, inspire, and develop their skills, and provide the group camaraderie and forum in which can be fostered critique, celebration of success, support for perseverance, and challenge.
Writers of all levels are welcome-novice to pros- and all areas of interest from crime to humor to self-help and self-publishing. Be it an article, a short story or an entire novel, come join us and share your work with other writers.
What to expect:
Time during each meeting is set aside for writers to present excerpts from their work for critique.
Published writers share their experience with the publishing process, both independent and traditional.
Form a strong sense of community between members to promote individual assistance. This layer of in-depth critique and advice encourages writing growth.
