When The Woodlands opened in 1974, both my future husband and I worked for the developer.
Sometimes it is hard to believe that out of this beautiful forest rose a beautiful community of over 85,000 people, many of whom not only live, but also work here as well.
While it may be true that The Woodlands sells itself, I spend many hours studying market trends and neighborhood statistics for both buyers and sellers. And as a Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS) I can help "Dress Your Home For Success" through make-ready and staging. I also have many contacts in all areas of home improvement should repairs or updates be necessary.
As a cum laude graduate of Texas A & M University, I believe in the value of continuing ones education and continue to supplement my own; I have earned the following professional designations: Graduate, REALTORS Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Home Marketing specialist (CHMS), and the highly respected Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). In addition, I also work to help other agents through my voluntary work as a member of the Houston Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service Education Committee and former member of the MLS Advisory Committee.
After a long career in graphic arts and technical illustrating - and a 2 year stint teaching high school economics and geography - I have turned my 34-year love affair with The Woodlands into a top-producing real estate profession. For the past 16 years, I have been a Realtor in The Woodlands and focus on working efficiently to help my clients achieve their goals, whether its buying or selling a home. Many friends say that I am gifted with a sense of humor; however, it is no joke that The Woodlands sells itself. Its the children having fun fishing in the neighborhood ponds or playing in the parks, the joggers and walkers on the bike trails, the wildlife, neighborhood schools, and fabulous shopping which make my job easier and fun. As the mother of two grown children who grew up in The Woodlands, and wife of a real estate developer, I understand and appreciate the importance of home buying and selling for my clients. Helping them make the best decisions for their needs and lifestyles is my primary objective.
When not assisting clients, or doing market research because I just-want-to-know, you might find me gardening, sewing, reading, making lamps, painting, or fishing with my husband.
