About Us
Dr. Timothy E. Irvine was born and raised in Port Neches, Texas, a small community approximately 1.5 hours from Houston. After finishing high school, he attended Stephen F. Austin University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Biology. He then left the United States and toured Europe for 2 months before continuing his studies at the University Of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas. It was at this time he met his wife and partner, Alejandra Palmeros. He received his medical degree in 1997.
Dr. Irvine returned home and completed his internship and residency at the St. Elizabeth’s/St. Mary’s Hospital Family Practice Residency Program. This Beaumont/Port Arthur program, affiliated with UTMB in Galveston attracted patients from the Golden Triangle and surrounding areas. After completing the 3-year program, he moved to Houston with his wife in June of 2000.
In August 2000, he began practicing medicine in the Northwest Houston Area. Over 8 years of practice, he has become well respected in the medical community and has been active on several hospital committees and has served as Chief of Family Practice at Houston Northwest Medical Center.
As of August 1, 2005, Dr. Irvine has partnered with his colleague, Dr. Kashyap and wife, Dr. Alejandra Palmeros-Irvine, to establish IKP Family Medicine.
Dr. Irvine returned home and completed his internship and residency at the St. Elizabeth’s/St. Mary’s Hospital Family Practice Residency Program. This Beaumont/Port Arthur program, affiliated with UTMB in Galveston attracted patients from the Golden Triangle and surrounding areas. After completing the 3-year program, he moved to Houston with his wife in June of 2000.
