Proceeds benefit the South Montgomery County YMCA Partners Program, Operation Graduation, Conroe ISD AFJROTC, Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Education Outreach Program and Montgomery County Humane Society. In 2010, more than 5200 partcipants joined us and raised more than $100,000.  Road Closures Race Day Morning: The following roads will be completely closed on Thanksgiving morning, November 24, 2011 due to the GE Run Thru the Woods race traffic starting at the following times: 4:30 a.m. - Lake Robbins Dr. between Six Pines Dr. and Grogan’s Mill Rd. 5:15 a.m. – Six Pines Dr. between Lake Woodlands Dr. and Lake Robbins Dr. intersection 7:00 a.m. – Lake Woodlands Dr. (at Six Pines Dr. and traveling East over I-45 to the east side feeder road) 7:00 a.m. – Timberloch Pl. All runners/walkers are asked to bring canned goods on race day morning. There will be 5 collection locations in the parking areas around the Pavilion and in the Pavilion.
