Love dogs? Want to help pups in need? Here’s a volunteer oportunity that’s guaranteed to bring more canine kisses to your life ~ become an OPA Doggie Day Tripper*! Here’s the scoop. At any given time, OPA has several rescue pups in boarding at Woodlands Dog Suites. They may be waiting for a foster home to open up, or are scheduled for transport. But, they still need attention and human interaction. Just an hour (or more) spent with these pups a week will mean so much to them!

Interested? Please join us for a brief orientation Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 9-10am,  at Woodlands Dog Suites, located at: 9015 Shady Lane, Magnolia TX 77354.

*You must be 18 yrs or older to volunteer as a Doggie Day Tripper

Our OPA Doggie Day Tripper Coordinators will be going over the basics of the Program, discuss safety and policies of Woodlands Dog Suites, meeting our OPA pups, basic training and voice commands, leash work and more! Your participation in this orientation will help get you started as an OPA Doggie Day Tripper!

What are some of the things an OPA Doggie Day Tripper can do at WDS?

• Exercise and walk the pups
• Give them a brushing and grooming
• Play with the pups
• Share observations on their personalities, and photos to their online profiles/bios
• Work on basic leash and other training

The possibilities are endless. You can choose to work with just one pup, or several. And, the times are flexible, between 8 am-5 pm, 7 days a week, so we work around your schedule!
