Job Description

The owners and current staff of SAS are certified pilots and inspectors, well experienced technically and operationally. However, we lack the sales and marketing skills to bring our company to life. We need someone with relevant experience and passion for growth to help us identify and develop customers.
The owners of SAS have a starter list of contacts in several market segments that will be provided to the successful Sales & Marketing Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy and tactics that will grow the business, to include establishment and measurement of sales targets
• Efficiently use all forms of media channels (e.g. Google, LinkedIn, etc.) to inexpensively communicate to targeted markets/customers
• Develop and help deliver a strategy to maintain customer relationships once formed
• Prepare sales contracts in line with common practice and relevant applicable laws
• Coach the owners and key SAS personnel about sales and marketing techniques to improve their ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with customers

Skills Required

• 3-5 years relevant sales and marketing experience, preferably including the development of a startup business
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to build constructive relationships internally and with customers
• Ability to work independently once clear goals and expectations have been set
• Competence with relevant and current sales and marketing tools and techniques
• Willingness and availability to travel within the continental United States
• Negotiations experience is a plus
