Job Description

This position is best suited for a Medical Assistant who enjoys both patient interactions and administrative back office tasks. This is a uniquely developed position which allows the candidate to diversify their skill set by working with referrals, medical records, as well as face-to-face with diet clinic patients. Reliable transportation and self-propelled time management are both imperative within this role.
The ideal candidate is someone with an outgoing and friendly personality. Who is comfortable working one-on-one with patients on their weight loss, providing encouragement, and coaching them to success. Sales and inventory tracking are mandatory functions within this role. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for processing all referrals and medical record requests in a timely manner while following all mandatory guidelines. This role is also cross-trained as back up on prior authorizations and front office.
Maintaining Medical Assistant certification is required.
