District 2: Lt. A. EasonIntoxicated Man Taken to Hospital July 24, 8:25 p.m., a 21 year old male of Magnolia was observed falling down in the ditch in the 5600 block of Ranch Lake Dr. on July 24th at 8:09 p.m. The witness was unsure if he was ill or intoxicated. Contact was made with the subject and it was determined he was intoxicated. The subject was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and marijuana. Due to his state of intoxication and the unknown type and quantity of substances in his system, he was evaluated by EMS and transported to St. Luke's Medical Center. Burglary in Restaurant Parking Lot July 25, 9:43 p.m., a resident of Conroe reported the burglary of a motor vehicle on July 25th in the parking lot of the Taipei Restaurant located at 25807 I-45 South. The owner parked the vehicle at 6:45 p.m. and returned approximately an hour and half later to find the right rear passenger window broken out. Several items had been removed from the vehicle. Burglary at Apartment Parking Lot July 28, 3:00 a.m., a resident of The Woodlands reported the burglary of a motor vehicle occurred July 28th between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m. in the side driveway of The Park at Research Apartments located at 8900 Research Drive. Entry to the vehicle was made by throwing a rock through the window causing damage to the window and part of the door frame. A black leather purse containing several credit cards and a cell phone were missing.
District 6: Lt. A. GallowayHotel Parking Lot Burglary July 24, 6:00 a.m., the burglary of four motor vehicles occurred between 4:30 p.m., July 23rd and 5:00 a.m. July 24th at the Residence Inn parking lot located at 1040 Lake Front Circle. Three of the vehicles sustained forced entry. Public Intoxication at Movie Theater July 25, 11:30 p.m., two individuals drinking beer and creating a disturbance were removed from inside the Tinseltown Movie Theater located at 1600 Lake Robbins Dr. July 25th, 11:30 p.m. The 20 year old of Tomball was arrested and issued a citation for possession of marijuana and public intoxication. The 19 year old was arrested and issued a citation for public intoxication. Vehicle Broken into at Restaurant July 28, 6:00 p.m., a 19 year old resident of Bryan reported a burglary of a motor vehicle occurred in the Chili's parking lot at 1110 Lake Woodlands between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on July 28th. The locked vehicle was entered by punching out the driver side door lock. The dash board had been pried out and was lying on the front seat. The in-dash stereo was lying on the passenger seat and the ignition had been damaged.
District 1: Lt. D. ConnJuvenile Drives Without License On July 27, Sgt. B. Herring conducted a traffic stop at the 13000 block of Walden Road after observing that the driver could not maintain his lane of traffic. The driver identified as a juvenile male was subsequently arrested for Driving While License Invalid and Possession of a Controlled Substance. This case is referred to the District Attorney's Office for disposition. Burglar Caught with Meth On July 27, Deputy J. Russell assisted Conroe Police Department with a pursuit of a suspected Burglar. The suspect fled using a vehicle from the city into the county response area off of Texaco Camp Road in District I where the suspect lost control of the vehicle and fled on foot into the woods. A diligent search of the area was conducted which involved numerous surrounding agencies. The suspect was later captured when he was spotted by Pct 2 Deputy Constable Chilcutt. The suspect was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine at the time. He was identified as Jack A. Blevins, white male, out of Conroe. Blevins awaits disposition on numerous additional charges to be filed by several agencies.
District 3: Lt. J. FlemingIntoxicated Man Found Passed Out on Road On July 24, at approximately 5:21pm, Deputy P. Smith was traveling west in the 20900 block of FM 1485 when he noticed a male subject laying face down on the westbound lane of the road. The Deputy observed the male to be highly intoxicated and arrested him for public intoxication. The 43 year old male from New Caney was transported to jail. Drunk Porter Man Arrested On July 24, Deputy L. Gill was dispatched to the 24800 block of Sorters Road in reference to an intoxicated male. On the Deputy's arrival a male was observed standing near a Chevrolet truck. The Deputy noted the male was extremely intoxicated and took the male into custody at about 10:00 pm. The 48 year old male from Porter was transported to jail. Roommate Fight Leads to Arrest On July 25, Deputy W. Phythian responded to a family violence. On the Deputy's arrival a male complainant advised that he and his roommate started arguing who would clean up the kitchen. The male roommate had placed the complainant in a head lock and then hit the complainant's head against the wall several times. The 20 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 1:56am and transported to jail for assault family violence. Woman Caught Writing Fake Check On July 28, Deputy A. Schmidt and Deputy J. Bruce were sent to the 20100 block of Hwy 59 in reference to a forgery. A female on location had tried to use a fake check and was in possession of two fake Texas ID cards. The 56 year old female from Houston was arrested at 9:42 pm and charged with 3 counts of forgery. She was transported to jail. Warrants served: Deputy P. Smith was investigating an assault by threat in the 22200 block of Newton Drive. A check on the 38 year old female suspect from New Caney revealed an outstanding warrant and she was arrested at 6:16pm and transported to jail. Deputy J. Staggs was investigating a disturbance in the area of Holly Ridge and Guinn Hill. A 21 year old male subject from Kingwood involved in the disturbance was found to have two outstanding warrants out of JP4 New Caney. He was arrested at 2:15am and transported to jail. Deputy L. Gill was sent to the 21200 block of Dogwood Drive in reference to an assault. Upon arrival the Deputy met with a 53 year old female from New Caney. During a routine check of the person it was found that the female had an outstanding warrant for theft by check. She was arrested at 6:45pm and transported to jail.
District 4: Lt. W. RawleyConstruction Equipment Damaged On 7/24/06, Deputy Van Howten was dispatched to a criminal mischief call in Ranch Crest Subdivision. The complainant was Keith Oakley of Oakley Construction. Damage had been done (during the night) to heavy construction equipment. Amount of damages was approximately $25,000.00. Photos and evidence recovered at scene and referred to Detectives. Show Truck Damaged On 7/26/06, Deputy Bundage was dispatched to Cherry Hill in Hockley regarding criminal mischief. The complainant, Chris Schmidt, reported that the specialized show paint job on his 1991 Chevy 1500 truck had been scratched and damaged. Estimated amount of damages is $10,000.00. Man Assaults with Vehicle On 7/26/06, Deputy Kerr was dispatched to Bluebonnet in Hazy Hollow regarding Aggravated Assault with a motor vehicle and criminal mischief. He observed the suspect and vehicle driving away as he approached the location. After speaking with the complainant, James Colston, and witness on scene the suspect was caught. Suspect was returned to scene and identified by both parties. Suspect, Oscar Martinez, was arrested and jailed. Woman Violates Protective Order On 7/28/06, Deputy Kellum was dispatched to West Rollingwood in reference to Violation of Protective Order. He met with the complainant and took the report, then looked for suspect who had left the scene. Suspect, Sandra Chapman, was located near the residence. She was arrested for Violation of the Protective Order and Public Intoxication and taken to jail in Conroe.
