Diamond Star Youth Initiative Fashion Show on Sunday

Local Celebrities and Houston Texan Cheerleaders to join in on the fun to benefit local youth.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- AVIA hotel in Market Street is the place to be on Sunday, Feb. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. as The Woodlands newest and most elegant boutique hotel opens with a grand splash of fashion and fun. The featured star will be a brand new local “hip” fashion line that has global aspirations called Diamond Star Girl.

Local celebrity and Olympic Gold Medallist Laura Wilkinson will be on hand to sign autographs, along with Houston Texan Cheerleaders and local models that will add beauty and grace to this class-act fashion show. Be sure to bring your favorite Hollywood shades, because the stars will be shining brightly!

The Diamond Star Fashion line is a division of the Diamond Star Ranch Youth Initiative, both of which seeking to aid and assist local youth by offering equine therapy and other services to needy families. The goal for this benefit is to raise enough funds to send two deserving young girls to horse camp this summer at PineBrook Farms Riding School. DSRYI is a 501c3 non-profit entity with headquarters in the Woodlands, Texas.

Several types of apparel make up this fashion lineup, including Hollywood glam, hoodies and T’s, Tennis/Golf, western and the newest addition of evening wear. It’s affordable luxury at it's best, with proceeds going to a worthy local cause!

Tickets are $20 at the door, and $45 dollar VIP fashion show seating is available to those who want to be up close to the action! Diamond Star is also seeking local models who want to take the first step in a modeling career with an exciting future.
