KHOU’s station president, Susan McEldoon, announced in an email Friday evening, that Channel 11’s chief meteorologist, Gene Norman, has left the organization.
McEldoon said Norman “has left KHOU TV to pursue new opportunities in weather forecasting and meteorology.”
Chief meteorologist at KHOU Channel 11 since June 2008, Gene Norman, declined comment Saturday morning. Norman was the successor to Dr. Neil Frank, who retired in May 2008.
Changes to the weather forecast on the right side of the homepage of Woodlands Online will be forthcoming.
