District 2 - Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

Teens Arrested for Marijuana Possession

On April 13, at 1:47 a.m., Sgt. J. Jenkins was on routine patrol in the area of Cranebrook Park. The park closes at dark and Sgt. Jenkins observed a vehicle parked and when he checked, he found 2 occupants half dressed lying on the passenger seat. A faint odor of marijuana was detected. The occupants dressed and stepped out from the vehicle. The male driver, 17, had glassy eyes and appeared to be very nervous. The driver stated he had not drunk alcohol or smoked marijuana. A verbal consent was granted for a search and three amounts of marijuana were found inside the vehicle. The driver and passenger, 17, were arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

DWI Arrest

Deputy D. Weatherford was dispatched to I-45 and SH-242 in reference to a possible intoxicated male driver. A vehicle matching the description was located and a traffic stop was made by Dep. Weatherford and Dep. R. Moody. The male driver, 37, had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and person. The driver consented to field sobriety tests and it was determined, he was intoxicated. The driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

Men Caught in TV Scheme

On April 16, at 8:24 p.m., Deputy T. McCoy was dispatched to 1025 Sawdust in reference to a Theft in Progress. Upon arrival, Dep. McCoy met with store employees who advised that two men entered the store and chose a 42" LCD flat screen TV and exited through the garden department, paying for the TV with gift cards. Another man entered the store and chose the same type of TV and exited through the garden department attempting to use the same receipt issued earlier. The three men, ages 49, 36 and 51 were detained and after a search and investigation. The three were charged with Organized Crime, Credit Card Abuse and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Teen Arrested for Marijuana

While on routine patrol on April 19, Deputy T. McCoy observed a driver lose control of his vehicle several times and veer into other lanes of traffic. A traffic stop was made and the male driver, 18, and juvenile female passenger were interviewed. A strong odor of burned marijuana was coming from inside the car. The driver admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle and gave consent to search. Dep. McCoy found the marijuana and the driver was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. The juvenile passenger was released to her father.

Woman Arrested for DWI

On April 20, at 1:04 a.m., Deputy K. Christensen was dispatched to a vehicle accident in the 2500 block of I-45 S. Dep. Christensen made contact with the female driver, 23, and smelled the odor of alcohol coming from the driver's breath. The woman admitted to having two glasses of wine. The driver agreed to field sobriety tests and it was determined she was intoxicated. The woman was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

District 6 - Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)

Woman Arrested for Shoplifting

On April 16, at 12:37 p.m., Deputy R. Almendarez was dispatched to 1320 Lake Robbins in reference to a shoplifter in custody. The female suspect, 42, had concealed three pairs of shoes in her bag and exited the store without attempting to pay for the merchandise. She was arrested for Theft, a class B misdemeanor.

Women Arrested for Stealing Clothes

Deputy S. Spencer was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a shoplifter in custody. Loss Prevention personnel advised that two women had concealed items of clothing in their purses and exited the store without paying. Both suspects were taken into custody for Theft, a class B misdemeanor.

Man Arrested for Refusing to Pay Bar Tab

On April 19, at 12:45 a.m., Deputy T. Conklin received a call from security officer at 1601 Lake Robbins advising that a guest was refusing to pay his bar tab of $91.24. Dep. Conklin received three voluntary statements from witnesses and receipts showing the amounts accumulated. Dep. Conklin met with the suspect and he had no ID, but said he had a Georgia Drivers License. Dispatched advised that the Georgia Drivers License was suspended. He was arrested for Theft of Service, a class B misdemeanor.

District 1 - Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)

Family Violence Assault

On April 8, Deputy Ray was dispatched to Arbor Oak Road, in Willis, in reference to a Disturbance in Progress. Two arrests were made. A 46-year-old woman and a 27- year-old man were charged with Assault - Family Violence. Both charges are referred to the Justice Court for disposition.

Teen Arrested for Violent Behavior

On April 10, Corporal Bagwell was dispatched to Camp Creek Raod, in Willis, in reference to a Disturbance in Progress. The investigation revealed that a boy, 14, had become extremely aggressive when questioned about his cell phone bill. He had reportedly been making three-way calls to the state of California. His aggression led to damaged property inside the residence and a very high possibility of further physical violence and/or injury may have occured if allowed to stay at the residence. The boy was taken into custody and transported to Montgomery County Juvenile Detention pending a charge of Family Violence - Criminal Mischief, disposition is pending.

Man Arrested for Deadly Conduct

On April 10, Sergeant Ward was dispatched to I-45 at Shepard Hill area in reference to a Rolling Disturbance inside a vehicle. Sergeant Ward located the suspect vehicle parked on the edge of the highway. The vehicle was occupied by a female driver, male front passenger and a female rear passenger. A disturbance had reportedly occurred when the male passenger attempted to remove the ignition keys while the vehicle was still moving along the highway. The man then reportedly slapped and struggled with the driver while the vehicle was still moving. The female driver was able to get the vehicle stopped and waited for the Sheriff's Office to arrive. The man, 63, was arrested and transported to Central Jail and charged with Deadly Conduct for his actions. Charges are pending prosecution.

Drug Arrest

On April 10, Corporal Bagwell was dispatched to the 9500 block of Darkwood, in Willis, in reference to a Disturbance in Progress. The case was cleared by the arrest of a man, 34, and a woman, 52, for Disorderly Conduct. The man was also charged with Possession of a Prohibited Substance, "XANAX", without a prescription.

District 3 - Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)

Man Threatened

On April 16, Deputies K. Koonce and J. Bruce were notified of an attempted aggravated assault in the area of Morgan Cemetery Road. The male complainant was waiting for law enforcement at FM 2090 and Hwy 59. Upon speaking with the complainant, the deputies were advised that a male had attempted to strike him with a baseball bat and said he was going to kill the complainant. A Splendora P. D. Officer observed the suspect drive by the location and detained him. Witnesses confirmed the complainant's statement. The 18-year-old man from Cleveland was arrested at 5 p.m. and transported to jail.

Ex-Boyfriend Arrested for Trespassing

On April 17, Deputies K. Koonce and J. Bruce were sent on a trespass call in the 18000 block of Oak Drive. An ex-boyfriend was intoxicated at the residence of the female complainant and she stated that she wanted him off her property. The man from Conroe, 33, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. and transported to jail.

Intoxicated Woman Arrested

On April 17, Deputy C. Murray was dispatched to the 19400 block of FM 1485 in reference to a traffic hazard. A woman at the location was found to be highly intoxicated. The woman, 28, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. and transported to jail.

Man Threatens Officers

On April 18, Deputy R. Meredith responded to the 23400 block of FM 1485 in reference to a disturbance. Dep. Meredith met with a man who advised that he had been threatened by another man on location. As Dep. Meredith approached the man walked away. Dep. Meredith stopped the suspect and the man became aggressive toward him. Other officers arrived and the man was detained. The man then started threatening all officers on the scene. The man, 43, was arrested at 5 p.m. and transported to jail.

Copper Wire Threft Caught

On April 20, Deputies J. Walker and C. Murray were sent to the area of Gabriel and Hwy 59 in reference to a burglary in progress. One of the deputies noticed a man running from the stairwell of a church. Both deputies then gave chase and caught the man. The man, 48, from Porter, was arrested at 5:35 a.m. and was charged with evading arrest, use of a criminal instrument and theft of copper. He was transported to jail.

Ex-Husband Arrested for Assaulting Woman

On April 20, Deputy A. Cross was dispatched to the 16000 block of Oak Creek Circle in reference to a family violence assault call. Upon arrival, Dep. Cross met with a female complainant who advised that she was assaulted by her ex-husband when she went to pick her son up. The man followed her into the house, grabbed her and pushed her against the door. He was cursing her and yelling at her. He grabbed a bungee cord and put it around her neck attempting to choke her. She then attempted to leave and the man struck her on the side of the face. The man then grabbed a bicycle helmet and struck the vehicle that the female had arrived in, causing damage. The man, 42, from Splendora was arrested at 4:41 p.m. and transported to jail.

Husband Assaults Wife

On April 20, Deputy J. Guion was notified of a family violence assault call in the 19100 block of Big Oak. Upon arrival, Dep. Guion met with a female complainant who advised that she had been assaulted by her husband, who had left the scene. The man was upset after the wife made accusations against him. She advised that the man had choked her and after freeing herself she called law enforcement. As Dep. Guion was gathering information the man returned to the location. The man, 38, from Conroe, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. and transported to jail.

Warrants served:

A 30-year-old woman from Kingwood was arrested at 2:40 a.m. on April 15, in the 200 block of Northpark Drive, by Deputy C. Evans for a possession of a controlled substance warrant out of Montgomery County. Humble P.D. had the woman detained.

A 22-year-old woman from Splendora was arrested at 7:36 p.m. on April 15, in the 21400 block of Davis Road, by Deputy C. Turrentine for a failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County. Dep. Turrentine had received a tip on the woman's location.

A 33-year-old woman from New Caney was arrested at 11:00 a.m. on April 16, at the Luby's parking lot in Kingwood, by Corporal K. Hayden for a possession of a dangerous drug warrant, DWI 2nd warrant and a theft warrant out of Montgomery County. Dep. Hayden had received the woman from an Humble DPS Trooper.

A 48-year-old woman from Conroe was arrested at 12:45 a.m. on April 16, in the 15700 block of Buggy Lane, by Deputies K. Koonce and J. Bruce for a theft warrant out of Harris County. The deputies were conducting a warrant service.

A 28-year-old woman from Conroe was arrested at 9:00 p.m. on April 16, in 14700 block of Quinett, by Deputy J. Guion and Sgt. B. Welch for a bond revocation warrant out of Montgomery County. the woman was on the fugitive warrant list. The deputies were conducting a warrant service.

A 28-year-old man from Splendora was arrested at 1:00 p.m. on April 17, in the area of Morgan Cemetery and Fostoria Roads, by Corporal K. Hayden for three traffic warrants out of JP 4 Montgomery County. The man was stopped on a traffic violation.

A 25-year-old man from Splendora was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on April 17, in the 13900 block of Morgan Drive, by Deputies J. Bruce and K. Koonce for an intoxication assault warrant out of Montgomery County. The deputies were conducting a warrant service. The man was on the fugitve warrant list.

A 44-year-old man from Cleveland was arrested at 10:00 a.m. on April 18 by Deputy J. Armstrong for an unlawful possession of a firearm by felon warrant out of Montgomery County. Dep. Armstrong met with a Liberty County officer who was detaining the man.

A 20-year-old man from Conroe was arrested at 12:47 a.m. on April 19, in the 14500 block of FM 1485, by Deputy C. Murray for a theft of property warrant out of Benton County, Arkansas. Dep. Murray was investigating a disturbance.

A 21-year-old man from Porter was arrested at 7:31 a.m. on April 19, in the area of Loop 494 and Ford Road by Deputy J. Amstutz for a burglary of a habitation/parole violation warrant out of Austin. The man was stopped on a traffic violation.

A 42-year-old man from Porter was arrested at 3:06 p.m. on April 20, in the 22500 block of Era Lane by Deputy C. Azwell for a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County. The man was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation.

District 4 - Lt. Art Galloway (West County)

Home and Auto Burglary

On April 15, Deputy E. Hollan and her partner Deputy A. Sumrall were dispatched to Post Oak Court in Magnolia in reference to a burglary of a habitation and burglary of a motor vehicle. They met with the complainants and obtained the necessary information. The vehicle was dusted for latent prints and prints were lifted off the outside window. The total dollar loss from the home and vehicle was estimated at $4,050. The evidence was submitted to the crime lab and the case was referred to detectives.

Theft

On April 16, Cpl. P. Smith was dispatched to North Dogwood Lane in Magnolia in reference to burglary of a habitation and burglary of a motor vehicle. Upon his arrival, he met with the complainant who stated that someone (2 known suspects) had entered her home and her vehicle and stolen her property. Estimated dollar loss of items and to replace vehicle window is $4,850.00. This case was referred to detectives.

Theft Arrest

On April 17, Deputy A. Sumrall was dispatched to Longneck Dr. in reference to a theft past call. Upon his arrival, he met with the complainant, a witness, and 2 suspects. After speaking with the all of them, Dep. Sumrall arrested one of the suspects. The report was taken and the case referred to the detectives. The arrested person was transported to the jail in Conroe.

Auto Theft

On April 18, Deputy G. Kerr was dispatched to Nichols Saw Mill in reference to burglary of a vehicle report. When Dep. Kerr arrived at the location he met with the complainant, who stated that someone had broken the door glass on his Chevy pick-up and stolen his stereo system and speakers. Total loss plus cost to replace drivers side window is estimated at $1,600. This case has been referred to the detectives division.

A/C and Copper Theft

On April 19, Sgt. J. Valenzuela was dispatched to Able Lane in Magnolia in reference to theft of copper call. When Sgt. Valenzuela arrived he met with the complainant who stated that two A/C condenser units and 100 feet of copper wire were missing from his rental property. The approximated dollar loss is $1,562. This case has been referred to detectives.

Guns and Cash Stolen

On April 19, Deputy D. Birch along with his partner Deputy T.R. Slusher was dispatched to Abilene St. in Magnolia in reference to a burglary of a habitation and burglary of a building. Upon arrival, the deputies met with the complainant and obtained information for the report. Several items had been stolen, which included a rifle, a revolver, cash, and a pressure washer. The total loss was estimated by the complainant at $2,450. This case has been referred to the detectives division.

Home Burglary

On April 21, Deputy D. Birch along with his partner Deputy T.R. Slusher was dispatched to Marvin Gardens in Magnolia in reference to a burglary of a habitation. When they arrived at the scene Dep. Birch met with the complainant and obtained information for the report. The complainant stated that while she was gone from her home for the day someone had gained entry through an unlocked door and stolen various items of jewelry and some currency. The total loss for the complainant was estimated at $2,875. This case has been referred to the detectives division.

District 5 - Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)
