Police Searching for Second Vehicle in Jewelry Robbery

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Investigators believe that a second vehicle may have been involved in the robbery of a jeweler on Sunday at a hotel parking lot.

The robbery occured on Sunday, April 27, at around 7 p.m., a jeweler from New York was robbed by three or four hispanic men of over $600,000 in precious stones in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Express on IH-45 South. The suspects were dressed in all black and had their faces covered.

According to police, a light colored four-door car was seen stopped with its hazard lights on in a moving lane of traffic in front of the Holiday Inn Express during the robbery. Investigators believe that the vehicle may have been blocking traffic to help the robbery suspects escape. After blocking traffic, the car drove away following the vehicle used in the robbery, a black Honda Accord.

Investigators are seeking information from anyone who may have seen either of these vehicles as they escaped or anyone who has information that may help apprehend the robbery suspects.
