Fiesta Universal to be Held Today

Postponed Fiesta Universal to be held Friday

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber (“MCHC”) will hold its 5th Annual Fiesta Universal on Friday at Town Green Park. The Festival was postponed earlier this week because of heavy rains on Monday.

Thousands are expected to celebrate Fiesta Universal with authentic food, art, and music throughout the evening. Due to the popularity of this festival, it is has moved from Market Street to Town Green Park, which is located on The Woodlands Waterway right behind the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and directly across from the HEB at Market Street.

The entertainment this year will include Walter Suhr and Mango Punch, Mariachi Imperial, a Mariachi solo performance by Spring, Texas resident Mayra Bazan, a very special and brief performance by Up with People, and the evening will be kicked off by Ms Sophia Mendez singing our National Anthem.

Profits from the event provide college scholarships to area students.
