Summer Concert-in-the-Park Series Announced
Irie Time to open summer Concert-in-the-Park series on June 8
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Kick-off the summer with music from a variety of talented entertainers! The Community Associations’ 2008 free Concert-in-the-Park summer series, presented by Munday Chevrolet, begins Sunday, June 8, and will continue every Sunday evening through July 27, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Northshore Park.
The full summer schedule is as follows:
June 8 Irie Time (Calypso)
June 15 Fab 5 (Beatles)* *Classic Corvette Car Display & Family Volleyball Challenge
June 22 Nigel Edison (Country)
June 29 Level One Band (Rhythm & Blues)
Fri., July 4 Uncle Mojo (Classic Rock)* *Bike Parade
July 13 Duncan Walters (Country)
July 20 Hope Cassity (Modern)* *Free ice cream to celebrate National Ice Cream Day
July 27 Mark May (Blues/Rock)
Bring a blanket, picnic dinner and lawn chairs to enjoy high quality recreation time with your family! Northshore Park offers plenty of lawn space for tossing balls and frisbees®, a large playground, two sand volleyball courts and pathways. Overall, there are plenty of activities for all members of your family. All bands are family-friendly, and the lineup caters to a variety of tastes.
