Groundbreaking Held for Reaching Pines

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- After more than four years of planning and development, the groundbreaking ceremony was held on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 for the Reaching Pines transitional supportive housing community. Reaching Pines will provide housing for up to two years for women transitioning from the women's shelter provided by the Montgomery County Women's Center where currently clients may stay for 60 days. This transitional supportive housing community will prove one of the largest in Montgomery County and was created to break the cycle of violence.
