THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- More than 450 individuals attended the 6th Annual Interfaith of The Woodlands “Five Who Share” Spring Luncheon on Friday, March 5, 2010, where nine deserving individuals were honored for their ongoing volunteer efforts.
Honored and presented the Service of Excellence Award in their respected area were Bob and Pat Huck- Seniors; Maury and Sue Lupini- Health; Pat and Guy Klingensmith- Health; Joe McKinney- Fine Arts; Jack Stibbs- Youth; and Alan Struble- Education. “The Interfaith Spring Luncheon is such a special occasion,” shared Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands. “The community gathers together to honor the individuals who give so much but are not always publicly recognized for their hard work.”
The delightful program also included a presentation from Honorary Chair Debra Sukin, St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital and Lakeside The Woodlands Hospital CEO, and the traditional book presentation where both South County community libraries received a copy of the 2010 Portraits of Health and Wellness keepsake.
In addition, the spectacular raffle and “Doctor’s Orders” brought in additional funds for the organization.
The title sponsors of the event were Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Entergy, Friends of Interfaith, St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital and W.S. Bellows Construction Corporation. Nelda Luce Blair served as the Emcee.
