WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX) issued the following statement after voting no on a resolution instructing President Obama to begin pulling U.S. troops out of Afghanistan:
“Our troops overseas and their families back home understand what’s at stake in Afghanistan – ensuring that country will no longer be a safe haven for training, recruiting or financing terrorists determined to kill innocent Americans. These warriors and their loved ones must understand they have 100% of our support to complete their mission and return home safely,” said Brady.
