THE WOODLANDS, Texas –– Celebrate Memorial Day weekend with fireworks presented by Wells Fargo, vendors, live music, face painting, a balloonist and more this year.
Memorial Day in The Woodlands is set for 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., May 26 – 27 at Waterway Square.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy sounds from local country favorite, The Sheila Marshall Band, as the group takes to the stage at 6 p.m. – 7:20 p.m., Saturday, May 26 followed by the cover band, Rapture, from 7:40 p.m. – 8:55 p.m.
The fun continues on Sunday, May 27 with live music from Houston’s hottest party band, 11th Hour, from 6 p.m. – 7:20 p.m. Another Houston favorite, Park Avenue, will play music from the ’60s, ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s and today from 7:40 p.m. – 8:55 p.m.
A fireworks display will light up the night’s sky each evening beginning at 8:55 p.m., weather permitting. Organizers say Waterway Square offers the best viewing for fireworks.
Memorial Day in The Woodlands is free and open to the public.
Attendees to Memorial Day in The Woodlands will find parking in the Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court) and curbside along Lake Robbins Drive, Waterway Avenue, Waterway Square Place and Timberloch Place. Paid covered parking is available at the 24 Waterway Parking Garage (corner of Fountain Plaza and Lake Robbins Drive), the Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court) and the parking lots at the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place and the corner of Six Pines and Lake Robbins Drive.
