Three men arrested in county pot grow op
MAGNOLIA, Texas –– Three men are behind bars after Montgomery County deputies arrested them in connection with 238 marijuana plants found in a Magnolia home.
One of the men is a convicted felon and self-proclaimed member of the “Houstone Tango Blast” prison gang.
The county’s Special Investigations Unit went into the home at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday in the 20100 block of FM 1488. They found an indoor hydroponic growing operation and one pistol.
The marijuana found can fetch about $5,500 a pound on the street.
