THE WOODLANDS, Texas –– Let the entire family fall under the spell of Neverland with Piers Chater Robinson’s Peter Pan The Musical, presented by Lone Star College-Montgomery’s Performing Arts Center for one weekend only—Thursday through Saturday, July 12-14,

The showings are set for 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday, July 14, at 2 p.m. Performances will take place in the Mainstage Theatre in the Performing Arts Center (Building D).

All the favorite characters will be there—Peter Pan, the dastardly Captain Hook and the scary crocodile, Tiger Lily, Nana the pet dog and, of course, Wendy and the Lost Boys, who will fly across the stage with equipment from Flying by Foy theatrical flying company.

Children and adults will especially enjoy opening night, Thursday, July 12, when snacks and special family-friendly activities (face-painting and balloon art) will be available at 6 p.m.

“This production is the largest undertaking that LSC-Montgomery has tackled in my time here,” said Chase Waites, professor of theatre at LSC-Montgomery. “We are having a wonderful time creating the magic of Neverland and cannot wait to share it with the community!”

The story of Peter Pan, written by J.M. Barrie, is a tale of childhood adventure in Neverland, a magical place where children can fly and fun and exciting adventures happen every day. In 1985, Robinson adapted Barrie’s book for the stage, and now, 25 years later, his innovative musical score is well known, loved, and performed worldwide.

The talented cast is comprised of LSC-Montgomery students and community members, including:

Sarah Barchie – Peter Pan
Tanner Bench – Captain Hook
Ashley Bolden – Mrs. Darling/Cecco
Jason Jauregui – Mr. Darling/Pirate
Lauren Lazo – Nana/Crocodile
Conrad Lopez – Michael
Christopher Orr – John
Catherine Zirilli – Wendy

Individual tickets are $15 for general admission; $10 for seniors; and $7 for children and LSC-Montgomery students, staff, and faculty.
