Fun fall cocktail recipes
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Fall is finally here, and we have a few unique Fall cocktail recipes for you to enjoy.
Herradura Pumpkin Punch
Ingredients:
2 oz Herradura Silver
1 ½ oz Pumpkin Puree (see recipe below)
2 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
1/3 oz maple syrup
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients into a Boston shaker
2. Shake and strain into a high ball glass filled with cubed ice
3. Garnish with an orange slice lightly dusted with cinnamon powder
Pumpkin puree preparation:
1 pound pumpkin pie peeled and cubed
½ cup of water
½ to 1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ginger
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon cloves
Herradura Apple-Cran Toddy
Ingredients:
4 cups apple cider
1 cup cranberry juice cocktail
1 medium sized cinnamon stick
4 ounces Herradura Reposado
1.5 ounces triple sec
Instructions:
1. Heat the apple cider, cranberry juice and cinnamon stick in a sauce pan just until boiling point.
2. Remove from heat and add Herradura and triple sec.
3. Pour into heat resistant mugs and garnish with orange peel.
