Volleyball: College Park sweeps Oak Ridge

OAK RIDGE NORTH, Texas – The College Park High School volleyball team swept past hosting Oak Ridge on Friday while No. 5 state-ranked The Woodlands continued its dominance in District 14-5A.

The College Park Lady Cavaliers defeating the Oak Ridge Lady War Eagles 3-0 in a 14-5A match. The two teams fought on nearly even terms through two games before College Park pulled away.

The Woodlands traveled to A&M Consolidated on Friday to sweep the Lady Tigers 3-0. The Lady Highlanders improved to 28-2 for the season and 8-0 in district matches. All eight victories have been by sweeps.

Maddie Slater and Madison McDaniel were strong at the net for The Woodlands and both Courtney Eckenrode and Kelly Quinn turned in outstanding performances as well.
