Grief Resource Center hosts 3rd annual Jazz Brunch fundraiser

THE WOODLANDS, Texas--The Grief Resource Center will be hosting its 3rd Annual Jazz Brunch on Saturday, November 3 at The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center, located at 2301 North Millbend Drive.

“The Jazz Brunch has turned out to be a really popular fundraiser,” said Judy Geraci, a dedicated volunteer for the Grief Resource Center for several years. “There’s nothing else like it.”

The brunch will be honoring Courtney Loyd Pierce, and will feature Teresa Roemer, Mrs. Texas United America 2010, as the keynote speaker. The event will be held from 10 am to 1 pm, and will feature live entertainment and a silent auction, in addition to a delicious brunch.

Mrs. Roemer is an award-winning author, and beauty and fitness pioneer, with more than 30 years experience in the fitness industry. Her keynote address will be a personal sharing about the devastating loss of her son and brother, and her road to healing.

The Grief Resource Center was initiated in 1999, but expanded in 2005 to offer educational seminars and workshops on the subject of bereavement. The Center is dedicated to assisting children and adults through the grieving process by providing information, understanding, and support. For more information call the Grief Resource Center.
