The Woodlands, College Park host Spring Games

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands and College Park High School football teams completed workouts this spring with the annual Spring Game at the respective campuses.

Not surprisingly, the College Park Cavaliers game was dominated by defense, which returns all but two starters from last season.

The Woodlands Highlanders also played a spirited scrimmage game that found the Green “Machine” take a 21-7 decision over the White “Lightning.”

Defensive was ahead of the offense in this one as well although the Green team was able to score on two long plays from scrimmage.

The Highlanders will participate in the Cy-Creek 7-on-7 tournament this Saturday. The Woodlands will host a 7-on-7 tournament on Saturday, June 8, at Weldon Willig Field on The Woodlands High School campus.
