Sugar Land Skeeters six game win streak ends Friday against Barnstormers

SUGAR LAND, Texas -- In Game 1 of a four game set Sugar Land lost 6-2 on Friday Night, ending their six game winning streak. The game was really decided in the third, when the Barnstormers Ryan Harvey hit a double with the bases load that drove in three and Olmo Rosario followed with an RBI single, to make it 4-0 Lancaster. The Skeeters did not go quietly, as Dominic Ramos homered for the second night in a row to cut the lead to 4-2, but the Barnstormers added two in the sixth to win by that 6-2 final. Aaron Bates reached base three times and now has reached base safely in 22 straight games.

Up Next: In Game 2 of this four game series, Sugar Land sends out RHP Matt Wright (4-0, 2.27) against RHP Will Savage (3-2, 3.81) for the Barnstormers.
