THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Plan an egg-cellent Easter – mark your calendar for a fun-filled weekend at The Woodlands Children’s Museum.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, the museum will host “Eggtivities,” an egg-decorating workshop. Visitors can experiment with different media and various dipping and swirling techniques to create their own extra special egg to take home.

Brooklyn Cafe, the museum’s neighbor in the Panther Creek shopping center, will be partnering in the event – cooking and donating 300 hard-boiled eggs for the celebration.

Kroger Sterling Ridge will donate 400 sugar cookies for children to decorate.

Guests can also make a fluffy bunny mask or play the “jelly bean game.”

“There are so many creative and fun Eggtivities planned for Easter weekend,” executive director Angela Colton said. “We are inviting everyone to join us in a hopping celebration.”

There is always plenty to do at The Woodlands Children’s Museum – from art and science to make-believe and magic. Located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, in The Woodlands, 77381, the museum has a full calendar of exciting activities.

Daily Admission is $5 per person 2 years and older. There is no charge for children under 2. Recommended for ages 7 and under. For more information about the upcoming events, contact Stefanie Pelkey, events coordinator.
