UPDATE:

The Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW) celebrated nine years of 'women helping women' at their August monthly luncheon, which included a celebratory cake, a table decorating contest, door prizes, testimonials, and a chronological video of the organization through the years.

"Our women turn to each other when they need something, whether its products, services, or support," said Carol Gooch, the fouder and Executive Director of the MCABW.

The MCABW board of directors presented Gooch with a bottle of champagne, the winners of the table decorating contest received gift packages, but all table decorators were rewarded for their efforts with gift cards.

"People do business with people they know and have developed relationships with." said Gooch. "That's why our organization has grown, and will continue to grow."

The MCABW provides many opportunities for its members to network and develop these relationships. The Business Builder Breakfast is held the first Tuesday of every month from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. at Eye Health Consultants located at 1111 Medical Plaza Drive, Suite 110, The Woodlands (77380), hosted by Joy Brasington. The monthly luncheon is held at Incredible Pizza on Loop 336 West in Conroe, the fourth Tuesday of every month. The evening networking mixer is held the second Tuesday of every month at various members locations, to showcase their businesses.
