Cameron Clay joins The Woodlands CVB as Event Specialist

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Cameron Clay has been named Event Specialist for The Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau. In this role, Ms. Clay will oversee all logistical plans for events within the CVB including the annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival & Fireworks Extravaganza, Trick or Treat Trail, Lighting of the Doves, The Ice Rink, iWOW (International Winter on the Waterway), Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderland, Live at Night and other events.

Ms. Clay comes from a strong background in impactful events having previously served as the Assistant Director for University Events at Sam Houston State University for over 5 years. In this role, she was instrumental in producing over 60 events a year ranging from small dinner parties to large formal dinners, various commemorative ceremonies, campus festivals and athletic events to name a few. Most recently, she chaired the Logistical Committee for Sam Houston State University’s inaugural Founder’s Day event celebrating 135 years. Ms. Clay is a graduate of Sam Houston State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication – Public Relations and a Master of Business Administration.
