MCABW mixer set for Sept. 11, featuring fashionista Beatrice Stair

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Teas - The Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW) will host their monthly mixer from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11 at Beatrice Stair’s home, 7019 Dillon Dr. in Magnolia.


Stair, an independent fashion consultant, will sponsor the event, which will include a preview show with models, food and drinks.


While Stair grew up in California and lived in Las Vegas for 19 years before leaving the bright lights for Texas, she considers herself a southern girl at heart.


“Moving to The Woodlands area was the best move for our family,” Stair said.


She earned her bachelor’s degree and masters in education from the University of Nevada and spent 11 years working as a teacher.


Stair still has a love of teaching – but now her instruction is focused on fashion. She is also involved with marketing and helps to support many community organizations.


Stair has been a member of the MCABW for the past two years.


“I love being a part of MCABW,” she said. “I enjoy building relationships, making friendships and being around positive women.”


Stair also serves as a diplomat for the organization. “I enjoy meeting new members, calling members monthly and providing service in Montgomery County through the scholarship fund and other activities through the year,” she said. “We refer each other and we delight in each others success.”


Stair said she highly recommends the MCABW to other businesswomen. “You are automatically connected to a network of friends,” she said.


The MCABW holds a mixer the second Thursday of each month as well as a monthly Business Builders Coffee on the first Tuesday of the month and a luncheon the fourth Tuesday of each month at Incredible Pizza in Conroe. Visitors are invited to attend two MCABW events before joining the organization.
