THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Express Lube is celebrating their 20th anniversary this September, and commemorating it with a fundraiser to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s research. On September 20, the three Express Lube locations in The Woodlands will be rolling back the price of its ‘Deluxe Full-Service Oil Change’ to it’s 1994 pricing of $24.99; $25 off the regular price of $49.99.

Fundraiser will include deluxe full-service oil changes at 'roll-back' pricing to 1994.

Oil system and fuel system cleaners will be included with the oil change, in addition to their multi-point inspection of belts, hoses, tires, etc. The special is not limited to one vehicle, so two-car families, and service companies with multiple-vehicle fleets, can take advantage of this ‘best buy.’ “We could have just thrown a celebration for our 20th anniversary, but we wanted it to benefit Alzheimer’s,” said Jeff Early, the owner of the three Express Lube locations in The Woodlands. “We provide the community with value-added services. That’s what we do...serve the community.”

Early truly believes in service to the community, and has demonstrated it by previously serving as a President of The Woodlands Rotary Club. In 2005, he was selected as The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year, and honored as a Woodlands Hometown Hero in 2006.

Leading by example, the exemplary customer service at Early’s Express Lube shops in The Woodlands, and the company’s commitment to service in the community, has been recognized by the Lone Star College System’s Small Business Development Center Advisory Council. Express Lube was presented the Small Business of the Year Award for Montgomery County in 2009.

The public can show their appreciation for the customer service and at the same time, help serve Alzheimers research in a variety of ways. In addition to proceeds from the oil change, customers may contribute directly to the cause, and Express Lube will match monetary donations dollar for dollar. The dollar matching program actually started September 1, and will continue throughout the month.

This is the major annual fundraiser for Express Lube and the Early family, as Alzheimer’s has struck close to home. Early’s mother, Jeanine, suffers from this debilitating disease. The Early family will again this year, have a team at The Walk to End Alzheimer's, which is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research programs. Friends and residents can support the Early team by contributing to, or joining online at Jeff Early’s Walk Page.

The contribute to, or join the Woodlands Express Lube team go to Woodlands Express Lube’s Team.

Those wishing to form their own team for the ‘walk’ can do so by clicking on Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s for North Harris and Montgomery Counties will take place Saturday, October 4, at Town Green Park in The Woodlands. Registration will be held at 8:00 a.m., ceremony at 9, and the Walk begins at 9:30. The walk is 3.1 miles.

To get to the walk, you’ll have to drive. Don’t do so without first ensuring that your automobile is in good mechanical condition, and take advantage of the roll-back pricing on your oil change at one of Express Lube’s three locations:

The Woodlands Alden Bridge in the Alden Bridge Shopping Center located at 7940 Research Forest Drive (77382)

The Woodlands Panther Creek in the Panther Creek Shopping Center located at 4450 Woodlands Parkway (77381)

The Woodlands Town Center in the Target/Pinecroft Shopping Center located at 280331-45 North (77380)

Please consider doing your part to help roll back the progression of Alzheimer’s on September 20, at Express Lube, or contributing in some way to Alzheimer’s Research.
