H-Gac holds public meeting on South County Mobility Plan September 25

<span class="sz">MONTOGMERY COUNTY, Texas -- South Montgomery County leaders initiated a mobility study last year led by the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) to address the high-paced growth in the area. The Cities of Shenandoah and Oak Ridge North, Montgomery County, The Woodlands Road Utility District #1, The Woodlands Township, H-GAC and Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) have worked together to identify and analyze the transportation issues in southern Montgomery County.

The evening of September 25, proposed mobility improvements intended to enhance local circulation, connectivity and traffic flow will be presented.

The general public, business owners and elected officials are invited to attend a public meeting on proposed transportation improvements developed for the South County Mobility Plan.

The meeting will consist of an open house beginning at 6:00 p.m., with a presentation at 7:00 p.m., followed by a brief question and answer session. The Steering Committee and project team will be present to answer questions. The facility is handicapped accessible.

The South County Mobility Plan is one of three concurrent studies being conducted by H-GAC to prepare Montgomery County to accommodate extraordinary growth.
