THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Approaching a 11-year anniversary in The Woodlands, Mr. Rooter Plumbing moved its company’s headquarters into the area in 2005, and has expanded the business to fill a 2-story, 5000 square foot facility. The building not only includes the company’s business offices, central dispatch, and warehouse, but the training and development center complete with all the plumbing fixtures in a residence or commercial business, i.e. sinks, toilets, even a shower, allowing for ‘hands-on’ training.

Nearing a decade of plumbing service in The Woodlands.

Roger Goertz purchased the Mr. Rooter Plumbing franchise in 2003, but moved north where the growth was taking place. The company continues to service the Greater Houston area including Katy and Sugar Land, providing an extensive list of value-added services which can be found on their website at the link provided.

“Customer service is our number one priority,” said Goertz. “We call it our 'World Class Customer Service™.' The company’s motto is 'Whatever we achieve today, we’ll exceed tomorrow.' We always give the customer better service than they expect,” added Goertz.

Aside from the most frequent emergency service calls, drain and toilet stoppage, and water leaks, Mr. Rooter plumbers are trained to also detect gas leaks. A sulphuric odor is often misdiagnosed by residents as coming from faucets while running water, but it could very well be a gas leak.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is certainly adept at handling the big issues. Servicing a client base of residential and small commercial businesses, they install hot water heaters, water softeners, garbage disposals, showers, faucets and sinks, tubs, and toilets; even offering services one might not think to call a plumber for like tree root removal, and Hydroscrubbing™ ...removing grease and sludge from the line with a combination of the high pressure and water volume.

Goertz would prefer to talk about the company’s culture; the work ethic, the stick-to-itivenes, being more empathetic toward the customer.

“The company’s ‘Code of Values’ is read at all meetings of two or more people,” said Goertz.

This reinforcing of core values has created a sense of family in the organization, enabling the team to weather both the best and some of the worst of times. The family atmosphere was obviously evident at a recent open house for The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce members, when Mr. Rooter Plumbing sponsored the monthly Business After Hours networking event. Tex-Mex and Margaritas were served, door prizes awarded, and the company’s own variation of a wine pull...plungers with gift certificates and prizes attached.

Mr. Rooter’s team takes plumbing seriously, but understands the significance of camaraderie with other business owners in the community, and developing business relationships. Working in partnership with other organizations has enabled the company to better understand the needs of the community. A unique relationship with Interfaith of The Woodlands has resulted in an annual drive to collect socks and slippers for seniors, for the winter season. Another ‘pet’ project is a bi-annual drive to collect pet food for the Montgomery County Animal Shelter. Their last drive collected 750 pounds of pet food. These philanthropic efforts have earned the team at Mr. Rooter Plumbing the admiration and respect of their peers.

In addressing the crowd, Goertz said, “We are reliable. courteous. dependable professionals. There's a reason they call us Mr.”

There are many other good reasons they do so too.

Not that you will probably need the address, because Mr. Rooter will come to your location, but their office is at 25351 Borough Park Drive in The Woodlands. (77380). Call them day or night at (936)539-4000.
