Cooper's Annual Golf Tournament to be held on October 27th

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The 27th Annual John Cooper School Golf Tournament returns to The Woodlands Country Club-Palmer Course on October 27 and will again feature a full lineup of golf festivities, including a full day of golf, followed by a dinner, awards and the raffle of a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport.

Under the guidance of seasoned Cooper Golf Tournament Committee chair and sponsor, Rod Pitts, the 2014 tourney will be held on Monday, October 27. This popular tournament sold out for the last several years, so teams and sponsors are encouraged to sign up early through the Cooper website at www.specialevents.johncooper.org. The day will feature registration, chipping and putting contests at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon. A dinner, awards, live auction and raffle drawing will begin at 5 p.m.

"We are very pleased to have such terrific response to sign-ups each year, so I encourage people to sign up early," Pitts said. "In addition, we are very excited about the opportunity for people to purchase raffle tickets for the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport. Tickets are available through our Advancement Office, and you need not be present to win." Raffle tickets are $100 apiece or 6 tickets for $500 and only 500 tickets will be sold.
