MCABW Mixer at Woodlands Medical Aesthetics Institute Oct. 9

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Sept. 18, 2014 -- The Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW) will host their monthly mixer from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9 at Woodlands Medical Aesthetics Institute, 17350 St. Lukes Way, Suite 380 in The Woodlands.

Janet Kane, licensed medical aesthetician and certified laser technician, will sponsor the event, which will include food and drinks and an opportunity to tour the facility and learn about available services.

Woodlands Medical Aesthetics Institute provides non-surgical cosmetic procedures in a professional manner, conveniently located on St. Luke’s The Woodland’s Hospital campus. Dr. Johnny Peet offers a variety of medical spa and cosmetic options including CoolScultping, Botox and other skin care therapies and weight loss programs and products.

Dr. Peet also brings 15 years of experience to St. Luke's Texas OB/GYN Specialists. ??Kane said she loves her job at the medical aesthetics clinic. “When you help other people look their best, they automatically feel better,” she said.

She has worked as a technician for more than nine years – and she is dedicated to educating clients about the best treatments and skin care routines for their specific needs, to keep them aging well.

She earned her bachelor’s degree and masters in education from the University of Nevada and spent 11 years working as a teacher.

Kane has been a member of the MCABW for the past four years.

“It’s a great group of women – and a great concept of women helping women,” she said.

The MCABW holds a mixer the second Thursday of each month as well as a monthly Business Builders Coffee on the first Tuesday of the month and a luncheon the fourth Tuesday of each month at Incredible Pizza in Conroe. Visitors are invited to attend two MCABW events before joining the organization.
