C.A.R.S. opens new location in The Woodlands Oct. 4

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- When you have a winning formula, you don’t change the recipe, you duplicate it. C.A.R.S. (Complete Automotive Repair Service) is replicating the success of their automotive repair business by opening a third location in The Woodlands on Saturday, October 4, at 26114 I-45 North (77386), and will feature refreshments and a tour of the new C.A.R.S. full-service auto repair facility.

Locally owned and operated by Dennis Mendoza and Laura Barnett, C.A.R.S. is the largest, independently-owned automotive business in the area with three locations. The Spring automotive center is located at 6135 FM 2920, Suite 100 (77379); the Conroe location is at 612 West Phillips St. (77301). The original site in Spring opened in 2009, followed in 2011 in Conroe.

“The reasoning for opening up C.A.R.S. was not only to make a good, honest living, but to offer affordable car care to the general public,” said owner, Dennis Mendoza.

C.A.R.S. prides itself in being the low-cost leader among automotive repair shops.

“We do not use high-pressure selling tactics, high parts mark-up, or exaggerated labor rates,” said Mendoza. “Our mission is to help the general community, friends, and family members, with fair pricing. We’ve grown our business through referrals and repeat business with our fair business practices.“

The business partners both grew up in the area, and value their long-term relationships in the community. Mendoza has been in the area since the early 90’s, and both of his children attend school in Spring. Co-owner, Laura Barnett, is a teacher and coach at College Park in the Woodlands.

Mendoza and Barnett’s sense of community runs deep. For the past month, their shops were offering a $30 oil change, with the proceeds going to the Kali Strong project, to benefit Kali Wiggins, a youngster battling heart and kidney cancer. C.A.R.S. is extending the fundraiser through Saturday, for the benefit of those who will be dropping by the new Woodlands locations, and especially for Kali’s benefit.

This sense of community and work ethic has been instilled in the technicians and employees of C.A.R.S. and according to Mendoza, ‘they’re committed to providing exceptional service with honesty and integrity, setting an excellent standard for the automotive repair industry.’
