The Halloween Ball set for October 24

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Halloween Ball: A Costume Party That Changes Lives, has been set for Friday, October 24, 2014 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. Set to be THE adult Halloween event in town, The Halloween Ball will consist of costume contests, fun interactive activities, a fabulous DJ and dance floor, fantastic food and wine and many spook-tacular surprises.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Breast Cancer Charities of America as they cap off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. “October is the month that breast cancer receives the most amount of attention”, states Erica Tullis, Executive Director of the Foundation. “However, breast cancer is more than just a month of pink, it’s a disease that impacts millions year long and we’re here bringing the messages of prevention and survival through our immense educational programs to women 16-99!”

Proceeds from the event go to help the charity’s mission to eliminate breast cancer as a life-threatening illness through Prevention, Research, Education, Survival and Support. In 2013 BCCA provided support and education to over 1 million people across the United States bringing the prevention and survivorship message to over 450 hospital partnerships, Universities and households.
