Community Trust Bank welcomes financial team at the Woodlands Banking Center

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Community Trust Bank has announced the hiring of four new employees at its newest banking center in The Woodlands, located at 2170 Buckthorne Place, Suite 150. Karen Mixon, who serves as senior vice president relationship banking manager, will lead the team and oversee the operations of the location.

Mixon joins Community Trust Bank with over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. In her managerial role, Mixon will promote and increase visibility and exposure in the community, while maintaining high-level customer service goals as she manages the banking center. In addition, Mixon will oversee all other operations at The Woodlands Banking Center.

Harry Gonzales
Gonzales joins Community Trust Bank as assistant banking center manager with over 15 years of experience in the banking industry. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Houston with a minor in Asian Studies. In his role at Community Trust Bank, Gonzales will build and enhance long-term client banking relationships, while ensuring the branch is as accommodating as possible for customers to conduct their banking business.

Jana Barker
Barker joins Community Trust Bank as retail relationship banker and business development banker with a fresh perspective of the banking industry. In her role at Community Trust Bank, Barker will head up key business development projects, as well as process a variety of banking transactions, while providing positive customer experiences and promoting the bank’s culture.

Aprielle Sullis
Sullis joins Community Trust Bank as relationship banker after several years in the banking industry. She graduated from the University of Louisiana Monroe with a bachelor’s of science in 2010. In her role at Community Trust Bank, Sullis will originate accounts and fulfill customers’ banking needs.

The team members will collectively maintain their offices at Community Trust Bank’s The Woodlands Banking Center in the Houston market and, on December 3, will host a grand opening event to welcome the local community. Community Trust Bank’s Houston market also includes the West University Banking Center, as well as its Memorial Banking Center locations.
