Keep calm and get your martini on - and a free mammogram tonight at Apollo Hospital

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Apollo Hospital will host Martinis, Mammos & Manicures tonight from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at their facility, located at 9201 Pinecroft Drive.

The Martinis, Mammos & Manicures event will give women the opportunity to mingle with physicians, surgeons and radiologists who specialize in breast care and health in a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Attendees will be able to have a mammogram performed on-site that evening or schedule an appointment for a future date – all for free.

“With this event we hope to make women more comfortable talking about breast cancer,” said Fawn Creighton, CEO of Apollo Hospital. “It is still something women don’t want to address. Our goal is to entertain, engage and educate women on how important it is to take the simple steps to detect the disease in its earliest stages. Most importantly, we want these women to feel beautiful and have fun!”
The lobby of Apollo Hospital will be decked out in pink and will include a tribute wall where attendees can share stories and words of strength, survival and encouragement.

The event will also include complimentary manicures, makeovers, appetizers and specialty martinis like the Pinktini and Mammo-Graham Martini. In addition, attendees will receive goody bags filled with items to make any women feel pampered including coupons from Aphrodite Salon and Spa, manicure sets and more.

Various organizations and businesses, such as Susan G. Komen, Sugar Momma’s Boutique, Philips and others, will have representatives at the event so attendees can have their questions answered and get more information about breast cancer, health and healing and a little indulging.
