Indoor regatta competition, Nov. 15

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Parati Competitive Rowing, a Woodlands nonprofit organization, will hold a competitive indoor regatta on November 15, 2014.

Lone Star College Montgomery campus in The Woodlands will be the location of the Second Annual Battle of the Erg: Parati Showdown. Races are open to rowers aged ten and up.

The competition is open to the public for single or team relay races. Former competitions have included competitors from area fitness clubs and adult enthusiasts.

Junior and Master rowing club members from Texas and surrounding states are invited to participate. This event is listed on Regatta Central and Junior Rowers will have official scores on record with Regatta Central for possible collegiate rowing recruitment requirements.

Events range from 1000 meter, 2000 meter, or a four rower relay race totaling 4000 meters. Races range from novice through adults over 40.

This event is open to adaptive rowers. Please contact us to discuss your interest and we will create an event for you.

Registration is required. US Rowing affiliated rowers should enter online at Regatta Central. Other athletes may register at www.paratishowdown.bpt.me.

Parati is a competitive community youth rowing club nonprofit organization serving rowers in grades 9-12. Parati is located in The Woodlands rowing on Lake Woodlands.
