THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands Children’s Museum has designed a number of workshops to get young minds in the spirit of fall.

“Falltivities!” offers children ages 4 through 8 an opportunity to experiment with various media and materials – like printmaking with corn husks, pumpkin printing, creating artistic Thanksgiving snacks and other interactive activities.

For 4-year-olds, workshops are scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, Nov. 24 and Tuesday, Nov. 25. Projects will vary for both days, so children may attend more than one session.

For children ages 5 to 8, there are sessions from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 and Tuesday, Nov. 26. Attendees may stay for the full day, if they sign up for the lunch bunch.

Each session costs $34 for members and $54 for non-members. Lunch bunch is an additional $5 per day. Pre-registration is required.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum also offers several events scheduled to explore various cultural holiday celebrations. The calendar is also full of plenty of options for educational fun – from permanent exhibits to special performances.

The museum will be closed for Thanksgiving – from 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27 until it reopens at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29.

There is always something happening at the Museum – with a variety of exhibits focused on cultural enrichment, education and creativity. All activities are included in the cost of admission. Daily Admission is $5 per person 2 years and older. Admission is free for children under 2 and museum members. Recommended for ages 7 years and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. To learn more about The Woodlands Children's Museum, visit www.woodlandschildrensmuseum.org or call 281-465-0955.
