"Many people waste a lot of time not being productive in their business which translates to loss income opportunities," she said.

For the last two seasons, Singleton has served as registration director for Kids Running for Kids, a community-wide initiative that promotes education, physical fitness and community outreach in youth. She has also been working as the drama director at Celebration Church.

Singleton founded the Nevada Homeschool Education Conference and directed the program for four years.

Her background is the event industry starting in college as the program director for the dorms at the University of Florida, where she received her bachelor of science and therapy in speech pathology and audiology. She has worked at various posts in hospitality, travel, real estate and direct sales.

"In business, time is a premium and learning to use it properly is your key to success," Singleton said.

She has been a member of the MCABW for almost two years.

"It's a friendly group of ladies," she said.

The MCABW provides a forum for local businesswomen to support each other - both in their professional and personal lives. The group holds a mixer the second Thursday of each month as well as a monthly luncheon the fourth Tuesday of each month at Incredible Pizza in Conroe. Visitors are invited to attend two MCABW events before joining the organization.
