The success of Toys for Tots depends on support from local communities, that is why First Choice Emergency Room is teaming up with Toys for Tots for the third year in a row to spread holiday cheer and give back. All 53 First Choice Emergency Room facilities across Texas and Colorado will be collecting unwrapped toys for children ages 0-12, now through December 17th 24 hours a day.

“The success of the Toys for Tots organization depends on the support from local communities and we are proud to be supporting this initiative for a third year in a row, said Thomas S. Hall, President and CEO, Adeptus Health. “We’ve added 27 new facilities since the last holiday season and have even expanded into a new market, San Antonio. With more than 50 facilities we hope to triple our collection numbers.”

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is the largest outreach program in the Department of Defense and as of 2013, the Toys for Tots Program and Foundation has collected and distributed more than 469 million toys.

First Choice Emergency Room facilities will be clearly marked as Toys for Tots drop sites with large holiday inflatables. Furthermore, the facilities are open 24/7, making it even more convenient for generous shoppers to drop off their unwrapped gifts for deserving children in the community.
