THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands Children’s Museum is inviting children to mingle with Mrs. Claus – while decorating gingerbread houses.

Mrs. Claus’ Gingerbread House Workshop is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17 and Saturday, Dec. 20. The museum is located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280.

Children will create and take home their own gingerbread houses. All the supplies for the gingerbread houses are provided, and the cost to attend is $5 above normal museum admission of $5 per person 2 years and older.

The graham cracker walls and a variety of sweet treats will inspire young minds to begin construction.

“Taking home a gingerbread house is a great way to get in the spirit of the holidays,” executive director Angela Colton said. “Spending time with Mrs. Claus is always fun – and creates a special magical environment at the museum.”

After decorating gingerbread houses, children are invited to stay and play at the museum.
