THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Ring in the New Year at The Woodlands Children’s Museum – at a party designed specifically with little ones in mind.

Due to the popularity of last year’s event, the museum is presenting High Noon Countdown Squared this year, featuring times for the annual festivities, slated for Wednesday, Dec. 31.

The first event begins at 10 a.m. and goes until noon. A second fete begins at 1 p.m. and lasts until 3 p.m.

The museum, located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280 in The Woodlands, will close at 3 p.m. after the event. Admission to the event is $5 per person.

The party will feature live music by Tom’s Fun Band, as well as art projects, the famous Bubble Wrap Dancing and a balloon and confetti drop at the countdown.

The museum will offer “Stroll*et” – a valet parking service for strollers to alleviate congestion. Sling-type carriers for infants are recommended.

“Usher in the New Year with activities and magical fun hosted just for children,” executive director Angela Colton said. “We hope the community joins us for one of our favorite annual events and discovers all that the museum has to offer.”

The Woodlands Children’s Museum always has a calendar full of fun activities planned for the year ahead, as well as a number of workshops for children ages 4 through 8.
