THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Conroe Independent School District has been named to the College Board’s 5th Annual AP® District Honor Roll. Conroe ISD is one of 547 school districts across the United States and Canada, and one of only 29 school districts across the state of Texas to be awarded this honor.

Honor Roll Districts demonstrated increased access to Advanced Placement course work while maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams over a 3-year period. In 2014, 3,630 Conroe ISD students took 8,001 exams representing a significant increase over the 3,004 students who took 6,525 exams in 2012.

AP courses provide opportunities for students to learn at a college level while also earning credit or advanced standing at many of the nation’s colleges and universities. Additional information on Conroe ISD’s Advanced Placement Program can be found by visiting http://ci.conroeisd.net/depts/adv_placement.
