Community gathers to celebrate Dr. Guy Lewis for 30 years of practicing dentistry

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - On December 6, Dr. Guy Lewis got to experience what few people get the chance to experience in their lifetime: a surprise party that resembled the final scene of “It’s A Wonderful Life”. In honor of Dr. Lewis’s 30th anniversary of practicing dentistry, family, friends and colleagues gathered from across the nation to tell him thank you in a very special way.

It was a night of celebrating his contributions to the field of dentistry, which is an impressive list. Not only is the man an accredited and founding member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry; he has built a successful practice in The Woodlands over the last three decades and become well-known locally, nationally and even internationally as one of the best cosmetic dentists in the world.

“The reason that 30 years is so significant is because Dr. Lewis doesn't just fix teeth; he believes in changing people's lives,” said Lauryn Hines, Director of Marketing at Texas Center for Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry. “Whether it's giving someone their confidence back or repairing a woman's smile who was a victim of domestic abuse, Dr. Lewis truly cares about each and every patient and wants to give them a reason to smile. It's not just a profession for him, it's a calling, and thinking about his commitment to all of the lives that he has changed over the last three decades definitely provides a reason to celebrate.”

Dr. Lewis was also applauded for the role he has played in giving back to the community over the years by being actively involved with many social and charity organizations. But more importantly, it was about honoring a man who has been a friend and mentor to so many throughout the years and has changed the lives of thousands of people by giving them back their reason to smile.
