THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Interfaith of The Woodlands spread fun, holiday cheer to more than 150 individuals and families during a first-ever Holiday GIVING feast at The Woodlands Christian Academy on Sunday, December 7. Attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch of turkey with all of the trimmings prepared and served by employees of Strike USA. “The holiday season is an opportunity for all of our employees to come together and give back to the community. They are excited to be here and we are thankful to be a part of this event that is helping so many,” said Ky Bishop, Staff Chaplain for Strike USA.

For Blanca Lopez, this is the first Holiday meal she has ever enjoyed. “I am so thankful for today and the wonderful food. In the past, our Holiday meal was rice and maybe some beans, but this is very good. I am so very glad to be sharing it with my children,” said Blanca.

In addition to the feast, participants enjoyed hot chocolate and a variety of fun booths including face painting, cookie decorating and crafts. “Interfaith is thrilled to be able to host this incredible feast for those in need in our community. We truly appreciate Strike USA employees coming out and cooking and serving the meals, and for The Woodlands Christian Academy for providing such a wonderful venue,” said Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.
