THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The NutriMen – a superhero team defending children’s health – will save the day at The Woodlands Children’s Museum on Feb. 28.

The event will be at The Woodlands Children's Museum on Feb. 28, presented by Junior League of The Woodlands, Inc.

These crusaders for a cause will take center stage during a day dedicated to healthy living habits presented by Junior League of The Woodlands, Inc.

“Kids in the Kitchen” begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m. at the museum located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280 in The Woodlands. The event is included in the price of admission, which is $5 per person.

There are a number of activities planned to help educate children about smart eating habits and healthy living.

The NutriMen will perform from 11 a.m. to noon. The superheroes will recommend ways children may make positive decisions about health, fight inactivity and become empowered to stay fit.

Attendees will also learn to make their own “fruit pizza” snack. Children are invited to make their own chef hats and will receive souvenir aprons.

“Promoting healthy eating and exercise is one of our top priorities at the museum,” Angela Colton, executive director, said. “We have joined in a number of national initiatives to support children’s health. We’re so grateful that the Junior League has eagerly approached us to sponsor this fantastic event, knowing the initiatives we share in our missions.”

The Woodlands Children’s Museum has a calendar full of fun activities planned, as well as a number of workshops for children ages 4 through 8.
