Karlins Ramey & Tompkins, LLC announces promotions of Soto, Wells and Fathinejad

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Mike Karlins, CPA and Jay Tompkins, CPA of Karlins Ramey & Tompkins, LLC (“KRT”), recently announced the promotions of (from left to right) Betsy Soto, Chris Wells and Mona Fathinejad, CPA. Betsy and Chris were promoted to Tax Senior Staff. Their new responsibilities include establishing client relationships and the preparation and review of comprehensive tax returns. Mona was promoted to Staff Senior Auditor and her new role includes establishing client relationships and added responsibility in audits of client financial statements.

“Betsy, Chris and Mona are dedicated employees who have worked hard and we are thrilled to promote each of them to important positions at KRT,” noted Karlins.

About Betsy Soto

Betsy Soto has worked at KRT for over a year. Betsy graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas State University and a Masters of Accountancy from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Betsy is currently studying for the CPA exam. Betsy is a candidate member of The Texas Society of Public Accountants (TSCPA).

About Chris Wells

Chris Wells joined KRT in 2013. Chris graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Midwestern State University. His tax experience includes individual, partnership, corporations, business state taxation, and estates and trusts. Chris is currently studying for the CPA exam.

About Mona Fathinejad, CPA

Mona Fathinejad joined KRT in 2013. Mona graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Science & Culture and a Master’s of Science in Accounting from University of St. Thomas.

Mona recently passed her CPA exam and will soon be a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is a current member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Association for Corporate Growth.
